The Landscape Institute is the Chartered Institute in the UK for Landscape Architects. Formed 75 years ago, its main objective is to promote high standards in the practice of landscape architecture and management. The Institute also regulates the way its Members operate, through its mandatory code of professional conduct.

Members of the Landscape Institute (MLI) belong to one of three membership divisions:

Landscape designers: involved in the planning, design and creation of all types of outdoor spaces.

Landscape managers: using their knowledge of plants and the natural environment to provide advice about the long-term care and development of the landscape.

Landscape scientists: relating their specialised skills, such as soil science, hydrology, geomorphology or botany, to the practical problems of landscape work.

Landscape Institute Wales is the Welsh branch of the Landscape Institute. The purpose of this website is to provide information about the profession in Wales, such as landscape-related events and news items. Included also is a list of professional practices registered with the Landscape Institute, who have offices within Wales.
