A Message from the ChairThe committee has recently prepared the Development Plan from the Welsh Branch 2007 – 2012, which has led us to re-assess how we allocate the resources available, to focus the support we provide to our members in Wales. Along with the success of the JCLI and CDM07 seminar in October, this has directed our attention to organising a programme of events for the year; the first of the year being a Pathway to Chartership question and answer session followed later in April by the annual dinner at the Park Plaza Hotel in Cardiff. The Welsh Policy Officer, Catherine Jenkins, continues to provide invaluable support to the committee, particularly in keeping us informed of evolving policy. Part of her role is to represent landscape architecture within the Regeneration Skills Collective and to liaise with related professions. We continue to respond to the needs of our members in Wales and welcome any suggestions on how we can improve.
